There are ways around not having a strong internet connecion
to view youtube videos.
You could use
https://x2convert.com
to convert the streaming video's audio to a .mp3 file you could
download and listen to.
But Most of the value of the video is in there in 1973's oil crisis ...
seeing the gas pump show $0.39.9/gallon (and they were still
complaining) ... those 70's hairdo's (guy's hair not too long as
to be beat up for being a hippie or gay, but longer than the
50's generation crewcuts) on someone trying to talk serious ...
that people were totally dismayed that having no-fuel could
happen in the .us (like they way covid has been
mismanaged/bungled) ... to seeing 1970's city streets with huge
detroit beasts/boats getting 6to8mpg ... and japanese cars still
to physically small to fit huge .us bodies/butts and carry all their
stuff/junk with them (small .jp ice for small .jp humans, not for
large 1970 appetite .us buyers).
If I remember correctly, years ago, Lee held bragging-rights to
having his internet access via an old 486 pc on outdated operating
system and outdated browsers. I would have hoped by now that
situation had changed when more up-to-date PCs with much more
ram can be had for less than $100

These are so cheap because the latest verson of MSwindows (10)
can't run on them (or thy are slow when they try), but they work
just fine on free versions of linux.
Like Peppermnt

or linux mint (or others)

But Lee stated it is his conection that is the limiting factor.
When was learning about tablets years ago, I bought a $50
android 4 limited to 4Gb and it only had wifi (no wireless 2,3,4g).
I learned wth a wifi connection could browse and keep my apps
up to date. I retired that tablet and went with an android 5
smartphone with a 4g network. It served my internet needs for
several years.
Since then, the ever increasing bandwith demands of today's web
pages, placed on wireless data plans started having me bump up
aganst my data limit at the end of the month.
I had to upgrade to a new android 9 smartphone to use the 5g
capable wireless network (but my affordable unlimited plan keeps
me on a 4g connection= plenty fast for my simple needs). Now,
I'm not running out of data, and though the old phone was fast
enough for me, the new phone has more than 2x the
speed/performance.
I found my old unused motorola moto x1527 phone had no
resale value at the cash4phone vending machine at stores,
yet you can still get one cheap

(I now use that old phone as a clock and paperweight)
Though the 4g connection is turned off, it still functions
well as a handheld internet device when wifi is turned on
and connected to a free-host. There are plenty of these
around: coffee-houses, stores, libraries, etc.
Perhaps if Lee had one of these with a weeks worth of
video url links stored on it, when he goes out to do his
weekly shopping, he could stop off at a wifi site parking
lot and (legally) mooch some free internet to stream &
watch videos like everyone else?
If that would work for Lee, to ensure Lee stays internet
connected and hip/savy, maybe I should postal mail him
this still usable paperweight?
