I disagree about charging to 100% all the time .
I normally stay in the 30% - 80% soc range. LS says 15 to 18 mv most
of the time.
I charged to 97.4% which is rare for me. the mv was 9vm which is
rahter wounderfull.
BUT i went from SOH 86.30% last time to 87.11 after high SOC. that means
I lost 0.81 SOH in 1 chrging sesion. Alomst 1% loss. the outside temp
was in the 60-70's .
1% loss normally takes hundreds miles to do that.
I'll stick to 80% or less. I charge at night to easir on the grid and
unplug it in the morn. some say leaving it pluged in after charging is
hard on the 12 volt battery.
I found out the leaf 2012 system dies at like 11.5 volts. not 10 like
most icers.
I got a n AGM battery which is good for deep cycling and starting. I
have some sears plauitm agms that are over 10 years old.
I can wake up the car again the 12 volt system with a motorcycle sized
12 volt battery.
no big battery needed.
