The EV in this article IS for the track only. The street version has less than half the power, 1300hp. However, that's more than enough for a careless or ignorant driver to get himself in a LOT of trouble, and quite possibly take some other folks with him. I find that 100hp is plenty for my needs, but YMMV. Actually, 50+ years ago, I was satisfied with 40hp in an Opel Kadett.
