Hi Folks, Both my 2020 Chevy Bolt and 2021 Tesla Y decided to have a TPS sensor (battery) die (showing TPS system dash fault) about the same time and are close to needing new tires so I just bought new TPS Tire Pressure Sensors at Advance Auto in Roanoke VA for both EVs.
The Chevy Bolt came un-programmed for $135 (presumably to program at tire shop through the OBD2 I assume). The Tesla Y was a whopping $292! - was told by the sales guy that I needed to buy the "pre-programmed" pricier version for the Tesla. Apparently too complicated for the tire shop to program, presumably labeled LR, RR, LF, RF. I wonder if there's a way to disable the TPS function and just use a ye old pressure gauge.
