it's like when there actually are rising temperatures and rising sea levels and rising O2 and increasingly wild weather and ice melting all over the world, you stop and say, oh hang on, maybe Fourier had a point after all when he worked out the Greenhouse effect in 1824. Rather than just putting your fingers in your ears, closing your eyes and singing loudly.
