I'm using Evolution again after years and I'm noticing a strange bug. First, I have to say that I (manually, sob) set up several filters for my mailinglist. They are working as aspected. Evolution moves mails following the filter rules (I use to match the "list-id" header) to a specific folder on the Imap server. And that works fine.
The problem rises when navigating through the folder where mails has been moved, something weird happens: when I click on message, in the message list, what is displayed in the preview pane is another message. In other words: mail in the preview mismatch mail in the list. It's simply another mail displayed. My reaction: 😳️ shock. I assumed that something got corrupted and I instinctively tried to look for a function "repair folder" or something like that, as in Thunderbird, but I didn't find one. So I tried to "Undo subscription" and this triggered Evolution to re-download (and reindex?) the selected mail folder and related msg bodies. So, I'd like to know if: 1) is this a know issue? Has anyone had the same or am I the onlyone? I also looked on gitlab issues but didn't find one related to this one. 2) is there something better I could do as an alternative to the workaround I tried, since I think it's not that good (efficient) to redownload the entire content of a folder with hundreds of mails stored. I'm on Evolution 3.46.0 (by Flathub.org). _______________________________________________ evolution-list mailing list evolution-list@gnome.org To change your list options or unsubscribe, visit ... https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/evolution-list
