If you use VNC, it will only require you somebody to setup initial
thing. VNC client is a small piece of software and you can actually run
it from the network.On the other side you just make Evolution client(s)
running through VNC server(s) all the time. When it dies/exits/reboots,
the cron job would restart it. I see this as being one day worth of work
and most people would not even notice they use software from some other
computer.
