That looks pretty good, and fairly quick, but I wonder if it's fast
enough. The problem is, my Exchange server has either bad memory, or a
bad memory slot. I get a blue screen memory parity error on an
increasingly regular basis. So the work and email gets interrupted quite
a bit.

On reboot, there is a config prompt that comes up, and waits for the
user to hit F1. I can't seem to get that to go away, so someone needs to
actually touch the server to reboot. BTW, if anyone knows how to remove
that prompt on a Proliant DL380, please tell me!

Thanks,
Erick

You can keep a standby server and do a quick recovery of the database in
the event of a failure. For more information on "dial-tone" service,
read the Disaster Recovery whitepaper.

Subject: Exchange 2003 fail over

Is it possible to have a second server running Exchange 2003 take over
in the case of a server failure, without using clusters? I don't have
Enterprise versions of either Windows or Exchange 2003.

Thanks,
Erick
