It's a user competence issue.  (Cue Ed C.)  Similar names in the GAL is not
an excuse for misaddressed emails.  

I'd send out a notice to staff reminding how to use the auto complete feature
and how to Check Names before sending.   Remind them that there are two Jim
Smiths in the company and that they should triple-check that the Jim Smith in
the To: line is indeed the Jim Smith who should be receiving the message.
Commence public flogging for those who continue to mix them up.

 We have two users with similar names and one of these users is a new
VIP who is complaining they receive e-mails addressed to the other
recipient i.e. Jim Smith (Alias: Jim.Smith) is receiving e-mails from
Jimmy Smith (alias: Jsmith).

The new Jim.Smith has been with us for about 3 months and Jsmith has
been with us for 20 years.  I believe it is an issue of the auto
complete in Outlook, and I wondered how others of you handle this type
of request?  FYI I know how you would LIKE to handle this type of
request.
