Mmmmm, mail loops good, but I think you misunderstood. If a parent from outside school sends an email to this distribution group that has 5 of my administrative staff in it, the administrative staff receive the email that the parent sent and the server (no open client required) automatically sends a reply to the parent saying "Thank you for your email.....blah blah". Why would that loop? This is something MS explains how to do, it just doesn't work.
