Need to set default smtp address in the configuration container, Site Addressing.

When I create a mailbox the return address it creates for it is [EMAIL PROTECTED] I have not been able to find out why it is choosing .com instead of .edu. How can this be corrected? 2) I can send a message from the exchange server to @yahoo.com addresses but I cannot send mail to @ucdavis.edu addresses. I'm wondering if this is related to the above problem? Perhaps my machine is advertising itself as adtex.ucdavis.com instead of .edu and the campus mail system thinks I'm a spammer? I would think the campus mail system would be checking on IP address rather than machine name. The error I get is The following recipient(s) could not be reached: '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' on 3/7/2006 3:56 PM Unable to deliver the message due to a communications failure The MTS-ID of the original message is: c=US;a= ;p=UCDavis;l=ADTEX-060307235531Z-4 Extra detail: - The machine adtex.ucdavis.edu is not yet registered in DNS but I wouldn't think that would be required to send mail. I know it can't receive mail. Thanks for any help you can provide.
