The path of least resistance is to buy COTS software. Beyond that it is a discussion of what the universe of possible is and you've affixed a singular dogmatic answer to a question that doesn't require one. It's a horses for courses problem and the answer depends on too many factors for your blindingly myopic opinions to hold any credibility.

The advanced exchange admin knows VB, powershell, etc and can script themselves out of a mess, or use it to create an adhoc report. And no your wrong again. You have to install Perl, and java to support either in Windows. Windows all ready understands VB OUT OF THE BOX, and with MS Log Parser you can mix SQL statements into your command with out having anything else installed on your box. Again I'm trying to steer people towards the path of least resistance. _________________________________________________________________ List posting FAQ: http://www.swinc.com/resource/exch_faq.htm Web Interface: http://intm-dl.sparklist.com/read/?forum=exchange To subscribe: http://e-newsletters.internet.com/discussionlists.html/ To unsubscribe send a blank email to leave-51097437-93384.d3786cf277f52d7b092b75655b561...@intm-dl.sparklist.com Exchange List admin: lc...@jupitermedia.com To unsubscribe via postal mail, please contact us at: Jupitermedia Corp.
