What do you have organizationally for server ? More than one ? I got something similar to this when I unhooked a 5.5 server before I really should have. Or, replication is not taking place between servers, and the one has the mailboxes and the other has the public folders. A neat way to load balance until your site connector goes bye bye. You may have to check a connector and re-enter the service account password, unless you run the System account. This can also happen between an E2K server and 5.5 and the Active Directory Connector.
