There is only one database running (besides the public folders). I don't
see any way of backing up the public folders.

<note>
        On the general tab, the backup method for files is set to
"INCREMENTAL - Changed Files - Reset Archive Bit " (I've created a job
that runs to flush
the logs). It was set at "NORMAL - Back Up Files - Reset Archive Bit"
and that was failing.

        Also, on the Advanced tab, the "Use Open File Option if
available" checkbox is selected. I thought I read somewhere that Open
File backups shouldn't be used with Exchange. </note>

Leonard - good catch. The hardware is RAID 1 not RAID 0.

Are you backing up all Databases in the Storage Group? Tranaction logs
will remain on the system until all DB's are backed up.

Unrelated: I hope the RAID 0 on your original email was a typo...

Leonard
