You can delete it. Seems like the transport rules would have criteria for forwarded emails. That seems like a glaring omission. At best you can control who they're being forwarded to (eg you can keep them from going outside the company). _____ From: Matt Moore [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2008 8:47 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Restricting email from being forwarded. You can delete the FW anytime you want to. Do it all the time with jokes. Some of them FW 5 or 6 times. _____ From: Campbell, Rob [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2008 6:47 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Restricting email from being forwarded. Nothing will keep them from copying and pasting the data, but that's a new email and the requirement was to be able to create emails that can't be forwarded. Creating emails who's content can't be copied and remailed is an entirely different matter. I seriously doubt that the Lotus Notes system that's being used for comparison could do that, either. The FW: on a forwarded message is added when the message is sent. They can't change that. _____ From: Brown, Larry [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, March 12, 2008 8:42 AM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: RE: Restricting email from being forwarded. Thanks for the input. I don't think the transport solution would work.what's to keep users from just changing the subject and forwarding the email anyway. Or copying and pasting the data. I'll have to research Windows Rights Management Services. _____ From: Brown, Larry [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, March 11, 2008 5:31 PM To: MS-Exchange Admin Issues Subject: Restricting email from being forwarded. We have a user that would like to be able to send emails internally that can NOT be forwarded. According to the user, at her previous employer they used Lotus Notes and they were able to do this. I can't think of a way to do this with our current set up. Is it possible? Exchange 2007, CCR w/2 hub transports Clients are using Outlook 2003 Larry C.
