Service Pack 6 will be the next release for BES 4.1(HTML Email, yay). Not sure there will be a BES 4.2 as RIM surveyed customers/admins and the feedback was that they would rather see SP's rather than a major release to get these new features, hence the SP's. I've been told that we'll see SP6, and possibly SP7 for 4.1 before BES 5.0 is released late, late, late this year or sometime next year.

I thought I recall this coming as a feature either in the release notes of either SP5 or SP6 beta or the OS4.6 specs... unfortunately this doesn't help you in your current situation.
