If they are in cached mode - they may never notice. As long as they are not actively connected, the move-mailbox wizard will lock their mailboxes and proceed along its merry way.
However, if they are in online mode, or currently executing a sync, move-mailbox will tell you that it can't lock the source mailbox. Regards, Michael B.
