Nice, of course I can do it at my firewall. Obviously I was unable to think
last week due to being reassigned to liquor and beverage liaison for a major
fundraiser we do, which means I was lifting crap on and off trucks all week (70
hours).

Thanks

James

  Hallo James,

Steve is right, your goal can be achieved at the firewall / router.

Also, Windows Server 2003 would have helped you with TCP/IP filtering.

Assuming you can't or don't want to do either, your other option is to modify
your receive connectors.

EMC >> Server Config >> Hub / Edge Transport >> Receive Connectors

In the Network tab you can set the "Receive mail from remote servers that
have these IP addresses" setting.

I hope this helps you in your quest for perfection.

    James,

You should be able to block it at your firewall. However, if it is a
dynamic address, it will change, so, if you do not have any worries about
blocking anything from that part of the world, you can simply block the whole
range the ISP has.

How can I block an IP address from connecting to my 08 exchange server? I
see a dynamic IP out of Turkey trying to ASMTP with my server and I would like
to block it.

    TIA

    James

      Hi all,

I've read all the previous posts about iPhones with Exchange 2007. My
question is very simple and please don't laugh: How do I set it up? I am the
Exchange Administrator, so I guess I should know. But I've only ever
administered Exchange with BlackBerry devices. So I don't know.

I would appreciate a nudge in the right direction. And not just a link to
lmgtfy.com!

      Thanks in advance,

      Andrew
