I am sure there is a good chance to find a lovely apartment for 1,5K and I
saw at least four of them already. The supply is much higher than the demand at
the moment (you would be surprised).

There are still many reasonable apt for rent at those prices if you spent
some time looking for them, I'm staying in 1 of them now (1905 area).
Just need to give yourself some time at a hotel or a friend's place before
you find it. It's like a flea market, you still have some gems in the midst of
junk.
