An international license will do. I am Canadian have been here five years on a work permit and have been using that option without problem. You can as well take your us license and have it translated which is equally acceptable. best nina Nina Rose Dolman Managing Director Direct -Montreal +1 514 313 83 01 Direct -New York +1 516 279 55 57 Direct - Ottawa +1 613 216 51 50 2009/2/26 John Dowdy <[email protected]> Hi everyone: Since I have a 12 month work visa, I understand I should get a Russian driver's license (I'm registered for more than 6 months). Does anyone know where foreigners can take the Russian driver's test and details about the process? I understand that since I have a driver's license from the USA, I only need to take the written exam (no need to actually demonstrate my ability to drive a car). Is that correct?
