vacation abroad
In all perhaps Spain, Portugal, Turkey or Egypt is hovering in my mind.
Mayorca is possible but Im not sure being an indian how fast i can get the visa doneas we are in august already .
That is why im also thinking of Turkey..

I love Turkey and highly recommend it for a great, relaxing holiday. I've always gone to the area near Antalya -- if you go near Kemer, there are mountains (that change color over the course of the day), pine trees and sea. (The other direction, to the east of Antalya, is flatter and less attractive, although the beaches are wider.) There are magnificent ancient ruins and sights all over the place. The diving is decent (tho not anywhere as good as the Red Sea). The food is excellent (Turks have a profound understanding of vegetables), the shopping is fabulous, and the people are very friendly and warm. If you go a reputable tour agency (check out the ones recommended by the Turkish Embassy), and go high-end, the accommodations are lovely. It's not hard to rent a car, and there are plenty of day trips you can make. I haven't been to the area around Bodrum (although the diving is supposed to be better there); I think it is flossier and more expensive.

I also love Egypt (diving! diving!), but it's really, really, really hot in August.

You know you'll have to report back to the list:)
