I have to second that motion re: Turkey. I was there a couple of months ago and 
although my trip was limited to Istanbul, it seems there is TONS to see and 
enjoy in Turkey overall: history, culture, beaches, food, etc. etc...it is an 
absolutely beautiful country, and the people are among the nicest I have ever 
met on my travels--I highly recommend it. I am still waiting for the day to go 
back!!
