Well I did compile loopback device and local network device as modules,
but I still have the same errors and the OK message too.
There seems to be some disk activity whe modprobe tries to start the lo
for some 50 times.

I'd really like to get rid of it. What I do not understand, why after
compilation of a new kernel the some parts of the system seem to be broken.
Shouldn't the new kernel work without problems?

TIA
