It worked. Removing supermount made RPM work ok again. And it also made the Citrix ICA client work ok when I have mapped local drives (eg C:\ on the NT system was my home directory on the Linux system). So by by supermount. I will start using you when you do not mess up my system Regards Oystein Sylvain GIL <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> on 08.02.2000 13:52:09 Please respond to [EMAIL PROTECTED] To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] cc: (bcc: Oeystein Hermansen/ALLIANSE/NO) Subject: Re: [expert] RPM does not work in Mandrake v7

Try to comment the /mnt/cdrom and /mnt/floppy lines in your /etc/fstab and then run rpm -i your_package.rpm. It solved the problem on my box, i had to remove the supermount option for these devices. To see what rpm is doing, type "strace rpm -i something.rpm" as root. bye, -- Sylvain GIL - <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> - Dis donc, Cortex, tu veux faire quoi cette nuit ? - La même chose que chaque nuit, Minus: tenter de conquerir le monde!
