Hello Alan,
         Thanks for the reply, I tried that and it said "you don't seem to
have netscape installed"  so not only did it not update netscape it must
have destroyed my old netscape, or at least renamed it where nothing
can find it.  Do I need to download netscape again and try to reinstall
it?  I'll have to think twice before using Mandrake update again!
