Framemaker is used by publishers and authors alike -- many book
publishers request that document manuscripts be submitted in Framemaker
format, because it handles manuscript-sized documents well (that's what
it was designed for).

Apparently there is now a beta version for Linux -- it's already
available for Solaris, for example.
