The version of Linux-Mandrake I'm trying to install is V7.0. The install executes as
it should, but
then hangs when it reaches, "initiallizing CDROM".

On Linux-Mandrake's site, they recommend changing the
/DosUtilities/Autoboot/autoboot.bat file with
a patch they have on their website. I downloaded their recommended patch and saved it
to a floppy.

Here's my question, and please excuse my ignorance, but how do I get the install
program to use the
downloaded patch, on my floppy, versus the "buggy"(to quote Linux-Mandrake's website)
file, it's
trying to use on the CD?

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a bundle.

Until then....
Good day........
