I hate it when I'm right like this sometimes. Not 10 minutes ago I finished what I was doing in windows, *shudder* and attempted to boot back into Mandrake. Only to recieve kernel panic messages. I say message(s) because I have more than one fully configured, working kernels. All having something specifically unique in their configuration and and nature. All, share one thing in common as far as the error goes. All report that they're unable to mount root fs. All, but one report FAT bread failed. I've never seen this error message before so I don't have a clue what this one means. Anyone have any ideas what's going on? I won't be able to use the rescue feature on the install CD's till I get to work tomorrow and can retrieve the disks from my desk. Once again I've proven a tried and true truth...if it ain't broke DON'T TRY AND FIX IT! KDE2 can wait till Hell freezes over for all I care. That installation of Mandrake was the nicest I've ever seen and now it appears to be dieing of a severe case of KDE2's disease and operator stupidity for falling prey to the dreaded affliction known as Upgrade-itis. Damn-it! All this just for Koffice.
