I have subscribed to Mandrake Lists for about three years now. I am a Mandrake user/beta-tester since 5.2 days. However the Sympa List used by Mandrake seems to have more multiple messages than any Lists I have ever used. Why is this? If it was only myself I would claim total ignorance which is often the case anyway. The fact many others receive two, three and four repeat messages does not seem reasonable to me at all. I am not claiming to have any answers to this problem, but have subscribed to high volume Lists, which year after year reliably and effeciently perform their tasks without the Mandrake "glitches". Keep up the fine cutting edge work folks but PLEASE could someone address this issue, or tell us how to stop it on our machines if the List is not able to track down the global problem? BTW is it still protocol to allow only subscribers to submit to this List? I hope so, the high volume is the price we "subscribers" pay. I believe it was last year or so when this poicy was introduced mainly due to spamming, but the issue of "high volume" can be address by those no wishing to subscribe by checking the "Archives" accessible from Mandrake's Home Page. I know as I often have done it myself. :) Thanks William Bouterse Talkeetna
