Hi,
Firstly, you have not installed everything on the
2 CD that have burned.
To install g77 for example
Step 1: Click on the DrakeConf Icon
Step 2: Select the Package Manager Icon
from the DrakeConf Panel
Step 3: Enter Search Panel "77" and
Install gcc-g77 or egcs-g77 as
you prefer.
Step 4: Try the same for gcc-c++ or gcc-cpp and kde
Mesa,lesstif etc.
Secondly, and more importantly, I think that you
contention about mandrake7.2 being no good for
programmer is quite unfounded. Verifying
the contents of your CD before complaining
will stand you in good stead.
