Ok, it's my experience, but I had problems with fonts until in
/etc/X11/fs/config I changed the line:
/usr/share/fonts/default/Type1,
to this:
/usr/share/fonts/default/Type1:unscaled,
(And I don't have installed abisuite).
My fonts are now clean.
