thatīs my point

Randy,

I know that if therīs no swapping space, linuxīs run will not go any good.
But thatīs not my point since I donīt want to turn the swap space off. Iīm
not sure if this would work, but I belive that if there is any way of
reducing the amount of cached memory used by the system, then this could be
interesting for machines with low performance hardware afterall the system
yould have more space in the physical memory to load others applications.

It would also be a good indea (at least for testing pourposes) to redirect
the cached memory to the swap area.

anyway, thanks for exchanging ideas people. Iīm learning a lot with you this
week. :)

Fred.
