Disabled how? What is output of 'rpm -qa | grep urora'?

vga=normal on kernel input line means text mode. NAICT, with vga=normal
in lilo.conf/grub.lst, console is incapable of displaying graphics.

With nothing to explain what all those silly little icons and graphics
mean during boot or with all the messages displayed run together in
illegible microfonts and instantly overwritten, I find no use whatsoever
for Aurora. What exactly is Aurora good for anyway?
