Ok I have dwnloded the rpms for 8.0
Now I want to try it out.
But I don't want to break the stock kde 2.1.1 that came with 8.0
can I install it along side 2.1.1? if so how do I do that?
I don't know how to install to say, /opt from the terminal
any help ? or know of a good article on how to do this?
I like 8.0 very much and have it running perfectly !!!
But ( with a sheepish smile ) I like the look of kde 2.2 and 3.0.
especially want to try Liquid - use acqua style now.
can't get 2.2 to install on my 8.0 box . ( probably did something wrong
again. )
If someone knows how to get 2.2 running or 3.0 or if we go nuts maybe
even 2.1 and 2.2 and 3.0 all at the same TIME !?!?!
