Hi all, Well, I made another Cdrom.img, booted fromm that, set mem=119M and started the expert upgrade,
got to the Configure X step, and can't find FBDev, (for framebuffer) I have tried all the Savage4 drivers and none test well, although not crashing the machine now. So all I can assume is that I need FBDev. I had no trouble with IBM desktops and their native S3s and CL5465s in 3.3.6. I did have trouble with the CL drivers in Win98 and decided to use something else for a Samba testing machine. Civileme
