OK, but the original question was never answered. AND it IS about Mandrake, and using Mandrake with the tools provided. While reading the "Experts List" I see many refernces to the MCC, so people are using the tools (including some of the staff). Mainly I was asking if something had been forgotten in the MCC for the Network Setup Wizard.. If not, what did I miss?? I just went through it again and still see no way to complete the network by mounting other file systems or exporting this one. I need to have some confidence in the MCC if I'm to set up different things like DSL, ISDN Networking & etc. To try to configure all the areas by hand is niether time nor cost effective on a service call @$50.00 per hr. Things are also changing in the way the config files are stored/read, an example would be the resolve.conf, one under /etc and one in /etc/ppp, OK, which one should be used?? I suppose at home I could (and did) try each one to figure out which got read <first> but in the field it's not my time I'm wasting. I'm not trying to start a flame war, I just want to know the Mandrake release I use better. -- Ken Thompson, North West Antique Autos Payette, Idaho Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.nwaa.com Sales and brokering of antique autos and parts.
