This only works there where schools (the taxpayer, the PTA, the local boss) have to actually buy M$ software. In Germany it is often given especially to schools by M$, stating the social responsibility of M$, helping society to educate the kids in a proper way. If M$ sponsors the software and the german Telekom sponsors the internet access TOC is no use demonstrating the goodies of Linux. My way to demonstrate is: Putting up two computers (same brand, same power, same hardware) side by side, one with any kind of Windows, one with Linux. Perform the same tasks on both at the same time. Format a floppy and at the same time burn a CD. Or compile a kernel and listen to a mp3 or view a dvd. Then - if connected to the internet - send a virus mail to each of the two systems, show what happens. Non-vulnerability by virus mails is a strong point now. Or bring a floppy with a contaminated word doc. wobo -- Registered Linux User 228909 Powered By Mandrake Linux 8.1 --------------------------------------------------------------------- "Katholisches Kleine-Leute-Milieu der CDU gegen rechte Sozialdemokraten mit BWL-Image, klasse, das kann ja was werden."
