I have a machine set up at to facilitate sharing of a dial up connection for my home network. I am finding that pppd will suddenly die completely or sometimes just become unresponsive requiring a restart. The box is an older one still running mdk7.1 (yeah I know it's older but then so is the box). I don't see anything in the logs to indicate any problems. Are there any experts out there that can comment on why this might be happening?
