Well, you could've tried to chuck out your .kde file in your home directory before starting kde3 or if you're not too sure about that: create a new user and start from there to take a look. If that works all right.............you've got a cleaning job to do :-) You're not doing bad though, at the time upgrading from kde1 to kde2 left me with a totally unusable Mandrake install. -- Good luck, Harm Bathoorn.
