hi, that's one of my biggest problem,: I doesn't have the origin mdk 8.2 but one CD of "Linux-User" and there are a lot packages missing - too much, as I have to say now. That's a way, that I cannot recommend for everyone. A lot of problems I have, are coming from such "missing packages and their dependencies" That's a really weird thing - indeed. have ordered yesterday a brandnew mdk 9.0 from mandrake directly. Think, that I may have a lot of problems lesser than now. bye hans
