Must be another one of those disappearing acts -- yesterday, after CD2 was
in the drive for a while, a "ls /mnt/cdrom" only returned Boot/ (no
Mandrake/)...

OK...  deleted the 8.2 file...  and tried to install some kde devel
stuff...

Looks like trying to up^H^Hdowngrade must be another "user" error...  no? 
:^)  At least the 8.2 error is gone -- thanks.

So far, I feel like I'm fighting 9.0 more than any previous version... 
then again, installing 8.2 and upgrading to 9.0 must've been a "user"
error...  :^)
