Anyone know how to get wine to work under KDE w/ Sound that Doesn't Suck(tm)?
I'm using the latest WineX from transgaming, as well as regular wine, but the sound under KDE is lousy. It's so full of dropout and static that it's unusable. I've had this problem with other non-KDE apps, but using soundwrapper generally fixes the problem. Not so w/ wine tho. I've tried wrapping both the shell script and the wineserver, to no avail. Has anyone gotten this to work?
