I tried but zithout luck. May well be I did something wrong...
I would be happy to get your modules.conf and compare it.
Did you enable the sound server in KDE? Does hardrake report your card ?
Thanks a lot indeed. Best regards

Have you tried modifuying the modules.conf manually??? I'm not on my computer right now but on the afternoon maybe i could send you my modules.conf so you can see how i did it. I cannot hear the oppening and closing sounds but i can get movies and realplayer working and "sounding". Well that should be all. See ya.On Monday 23 December 2002 12:29, Stefano Pogliani wrote:Hardrake2 **does not detect** my Sound card at all (see attached) /stefano Praedor Atrebates wrote:On Monday 23 December 2002 10:08 am, Stefano Pogliani wrote:I have tried to make it working as it was in 8.2. In 8.2 it was simply to add the following line to modules.conf:First, try running harddrake. When it comes up after doing its detection stuff, select the sound card and then select the configure button. See how it does in setting up your sound (it will also setup your modules.conf file for you). If harddrake misidentifies your card, you can manually select the correct card from a list. Hopefully, your card will be listed. See how that works then let us know the outcome. praedor ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Want to buy your Pack or Services from MandrakeSoft?
