I've just upgraded a 9.0 with 9.1b1 as I had 9.0 installed twice anyway.

I've found some hitches but overall everything works fine, even the shared
/home and /var partitions with other distribs and versions.

The main hitch at the first boot was my geforce video card. The Nvidia drivers
weren't there anymore (which was to be expected) so I had to run XFdrake
again to mend that.

Overall it seems to be working OK.
A word of warning though: During install after choosing the groups of packages
to update, there's no going back.
If you click "previous" it goes on to install anyway. So choose well (or all)
I forgot to select Gnome that's why I wanted to go back:o(

Skipping lilo installation apparently isn't possible and the lilo it installs
has all the old entries (like win4lin, old-linux, etc.) but they all pointed
to the same hd partition:o(

So keep a copy of your /boot directory and of /etc/lilo.conf. That way you'll
know what the entries looked like and where they were pointing.

Good luck,
HarM
