Hans, I've never been able to recover anything from an ext3 FS. I've only been able to do it with MC on an ext2 FS. MC=Midnight Commander has an undelete feature that makes recovery of a deleted file not only possible, but for the most part successful. - -- Mark - ----------------------------------------------------------- Paid for by Penguins against modern appliances(R) Linux User Since 1996 Powered by Mandrake Linux 8.2 & 9.0 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+IccwJuZ1geTzHgERAjw7AJ95G8PRaFkD7jbiguvxrWFcw8oqxgCgs0Lu SMcA/3Vfk8CsSxHnpmdLhkU= =7Nsk -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
