I am almost positive that I would be better off WITH the injection
system. The previous owner said they could never get it to meter
properly. If I knew what to replace I would do it. The car has run fine
just with the fuel/oil mix. I run a 45:1 mix.
JV, what are you doing with your Zink? Autocross or roadrace?

PLEASE, no lectures about how I will not be competitive with the Kawi
or my Zink. :)
You won't get any from me. I've got a Kawi and a Zink myself. Just
bought it last year at about this time.
As to the oil pump issue, I know from nothing about the rules, but I'm
pretty sure that you are better off keeping the pump functional. It
squirts oil right into the crankcase, and into the cylinders. I just
got done rebuilding my motor and found the system is really quite simple.
