There seems to be a discrepancy between Muller's statement that lithium batteries can only be recharged 700 times and the claim that lithium batteries are going to "last multiple generations. 20, 25 years." I'm going to go with Muller's estimate, which would mean that car batteries would need to be replaced about every five years, as with the Tesla: Maybe this guy is basing his whole business plan on the assumption that the technologies will evolve a lot as the project progresses.
