I don't think the Maharishi ever made that claim. It's not even mentioned in your original post of goals for the Maharishi Yagya Program. Why would anyone object and want to persecute a group of people getting together to pray for world peace and prosperity, Hugo? Maybe you got a little mixed up - you thought you were a liberal, but you turned out to be intolerant. Go figure.
