But, the Buddha said nothing about mantras, yantras,
mandalas, pujas, or mudras, let alone feminine deities.


Huh. Wonder why Shankara referred to the Buddha's path as Vainashika- tantra then?

You do know that one of Buddha's closest friends was a tantric, right?
