Apple paid for the visit and subsequent use of the ideas by allowing Xerox to purchase $1 million in stock options at a minimalist price which is now probably worth many billions of dollars, had they held on to it. Xerox was so dismal in how they utilized the technology that the entire team that developed the GUI, object oriented programming, etc., eventually ended up working for APple a few years later because they were annoyed at how unproductive working for Xerox proved to be. Apple didn't steal anything. L
